Janmashtami also names as Krishna Janmashtami (कृष्ण जन्माष्टमी) is an annual celebration Hindu festival that celebrates the birth of Krishna the aviator Vishnu. Each of the regions/zone in India that can celebrate into the different type and cultural according to Calendar, which overlaps with August and September every year.
It is an important festival particularly to the Vaishnavism tradition of Hinduism Dance-drama enactments of the life of Krishna according to the Bhagavata Purana devotional singing through the midnight when Krishna is believed to have been born, It is celebrated particularly in Mathura and Brindavan, along with major Vaishnava and non-sectarian communities found in Manipur, Assam, West Bengal, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and other regions.
Krishna Janmashtami is followed by the festival Nandotsav, which celebrates the occasion when Nanda Baba distributed gifts to the community in honor of the birth. some major places in Brindavan where Krishna Janmashtami celebrates are Krishna Janmabhoomi, Dwarkadheesh, ISKON temple in Mathura, the birthplace of Lord Krishna.
In Shri Shirdi Sai Sharnam Dham temple bisalpur we are celebrating the Janmashtami with a huge number of devotees that are celebrated and enjoy the function full of faith and devotional mind. We arrange the idol of Krishna and Radha, sweet, fruits, doop, puja, and havan arrangement for the puja some of the team members of the mandir will help and arrange the material also help us to decorate the temple with flower and lighting. In the evening time we can start the function with havan and puja all the devotees can join the program after that we can talk to the Krishna idol and complete the Janmashtami puja and celebration with the distribution of Prasad.
We can do a Janmashtami celebration every year since 2014. The last year 2018 Janmashtami celebration held with a huge number of sai devotees.
