Sai Baba aur Manav Seva: Bhandara ka Mahatva

In the life and stories of Shirdi Sai Baba, true religion was never about reading thick books or just talking about high spiritual philosophy. For Baba, faith meant acting with real kindness and helping those who have less. He always said a very simple line to his followers: 'Feeding a hungry person or an animal is the highest form of prayer you can offer to God.' At Shrishirdisaisharnamdham on Station Road, Bisalpur, we keep this lesson alive every single day through our massive community kitchen (Bhandara).

Baba's Kitchen: Cooking with Love and Unity

When Baba stayed in Shirdi, he used to personally buy grains and spices from the local market, light up a massive mud stove, and cook giant pots of food (Handi) for the entire village. He would stir the hot food with his own bare hands, completely untouched by heat, while chanting silent prayers of protection for his people. He would then distribute this hot, blessed food to poor travelers, manual laborers, orphan children, and stray dogs, showing that the same divine light lives inside every single being.

The Daily Annadan Drive at Bisalpur

Following Baba's exact footsteps, our temple samiti operates a highly clean and fully volunteer-driven daily kitchen. Every day, fresh, simple, and nutritious satvik meals are cooked with deep love and distributed completely free of charge to hundreds of visitors, poor laborers, and pilgrims. During big annual festivals like Guru Purnima and Ram Navami, this food drive becomes massive, feeding thousands of families in a single day.

How Your Family Can Sponsor a Bhandara Drive

To celebrate your special family moments—like birthdays, wedding anniversaries, or remembering your grandparents—you can choose to sponsor a full day of meals in our community kitchen. This simple act of charity brings endless joy to needy people and ensures your home stays forever filled with peace, abundance, and Baba’s fatherly protection.
