Janmashtami also name as Krishna Janmashtami (कृष्ण जन्माष्टमी) is an annual celebration Hindu festival that celebrates the birth of Krishna the aviator Vishnu. Each of the regions/zone in India that can be celebrates into different type and cultural according to Calendar, which overlaps with August and September every year.
It is an important festival particularly to the Vaishnavism tradition of Hinduism Dance-drama enactments of the life of Krishna according to the Bhagavata Purana devotional singing through the midnight when Krishna is believed to have been born, It is celebrated particularly in Mathura and Brindavan, along with major Vaishnava and non-sectarian communities found in Manipur, Assam, West Bengal, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and other regions.
Krishna Janmashtami is followed by the festival Nandotsav, which celebrates the occasion when Nanda Baba distributed gifts to the community in honor of the birth.some major place in brindavan where Krishna janmashatami celebrate are Krishna Janmabhoomi, Dwarkadheesh, ISKON temple in Mathura, the birthplace of Lord Krishna.

In the evening time we can start the function with havan and pujan all the devotees can join the program after that we can tilk the Krishna idol and complete the janmashtami pujan and celebration with distribution of Prasad.
